Dear Guests and Visitors
at “The Land”:
For your convenience, here is a short “check list”
outlining information you will need to remember when
arriving and departing the facilities.
There is no official
check-in/check-out and the facility will be open and
ready for your arrival at the time requested at
reservation.
Please, only
park on marked sections.
The building sidewalks and underground water
pipes do not
support the weight of cars when loading or unloading
supplies. (This does not apply to the Pavilion/picnic
area)
Before departure,
group leaders should check before the group
leaves to make sure clean-up is completed. Please also
make sure any lights, air-conditioners or heaters
in cabins are
turned off.
Any checks may be made out to Christian Outreach
Ministries or “The Land”.
We have no paid
staff here at “The Land” and therefore, need to make
clear to all retreat attendees, the opportunity and
requirement of leaving a good “clean” witness behind for
the next incoming group;
to be specific, this means:
ü
Making sure the restroom facilities used are cleaned,
swept & mopped
(cleaning supplies are located under sinks)
ü
Kitchen floors
swept & mopped, carpets vacuumed, (cabins
may be swept)
ü
ALL trash bagged and taken to the brown dumpster
when leaving. This includes the Pavilion area if used.
Dumpster is located at the entrance to the property near
mailboxes.
The next group will know your testimony by what you
leave behind…
PLEASE…… make it a clean one!
Our desire is for everyone’s stay here at “The Land” to
be a spiritually uplifting experience so they may come
away refreshed and renewed in The Lord.
If there is
anything you need, please call Carol Garner at
770-924-0513,
or Paul Storey at 770-924-1345.
In His Service,
Carol Garner
